Groundbreaking ceremony held for the submersible bridges to be built this year

This fiscal year, we are planning to construct three submersible bridges in Sagaing Region in the north of Myanmar and one in Kayin State in the south. Infrastructure development is particularly lagging in the rural areas near the border, which are far from Yangon, a major city in central Myanmar, and Mandalay, the capital. From the groundbreaking ceremonies held this time, we could sense that the expectations of the local residents for the bridge construction are very high.

Groundbreaking ceremony for the Indo-1 bridge in Sagaing Region

Until last year, we had been constructing submersible bridges mainly in Magway region near the center of the country, but this year will be a year of a challenge in new frontiers. We will do our best to respond to people’ s expectations, so please give us your continued support.
